PVAC invites you to celebrate the release of Plein Air: Connecting to the Land, a full-color catalogue of the plein air paintings exhibited in the "Plein Air: Connecting to the Land, Paintings of the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County" exhibit that took place at the PVAC Gallery from July 8 - August 15, 2010 in partnership with the Land Trust of SCC. The exhibit was curated by Susanna Waddell and the late Mary Warshaw, to whom the book is dedicated.

The catalogue features all of the 124 paintings and sculpture from the original exhibit by 58 local artists.This beautiful book was designed by graphic artist Lisa Zaretsky and photographed by David Reese. The publication was made possible through the generosity of Don and Diane Cooley, and through the dedicated work of Susanna Waddell. We thank all those who participated in the production of the book.

The catalogue is a stunning visual archive of select properties protected by the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County including: Antonelli Pond, Byrne Forest, Circle P Ranch, Davenport Bluff, Glenwood Preserve, and the Watsonville Wetlands.
